We both ordered  the Weekender Steak (rump and topper) and the steak to be very tender and juicy. The topper prawns and sauce were lovely. Great experience. We will be returning!!!

The Coolangatta Hotel

Mainly Japanese simple meals, there are fried rice, there are also udon noodles, but most of the things are semi-finished, so the taste is really not good, the price is still very expensive, the chicken nuggets are actually semi-finished, not delicious.

Standard Australian dishes, the things are more greasy, but the noodles are delicious, the fried fish is delicious, the noodles are similar to Shaanxi lasagna, that is, the noodles are too little.

The Greek seafood restaurant, there are really Greeks inside, the grilled fish inside is very good, there is no fish thorn, the lamb is made in Greek style, the taste of spices is more, or it is recommended to eat fish.

The dishes here are in the Mediterranean style. The thick cheese inside tastes very good. Greek cheese noodles are also available. The fish is very good. The bread is a bit sour and I am not used to it.

Small restaurants that specialize in pizza and pasta are absolutely popular, and the price is cost-effective, but the food standard is quite good, attracting many backpackers.

I was there a little later in the evening, there was mainly Australian music playing in the background. Could easily have a conversation though. On arrival the waitress knew about my booking straight away &amp; we chose our table. The bar was very close by &amp; we started with a beer.We both ordered the rump steak special , medium rare.  It didn&#39;t take too long at all to be bought to the table. It was sensational! Cooked perfectly with just the right of chips &amp; salad on the plate too. Bummer I&#39;m only here for a holiday!

No issue with the staff or venue but the quality of food has dropped recently. We were just served a raw burger Pattie, cold garlic prawns and a frozen chicken schnitzel. We have visited Coolangatta Hotel many times for the last 20 years but our last 3 visits suggest somethings changed for the worst. The staff were good about the issues but it&rsquo;s pretty basic stuff. Just a shame when you know how awesome a place once was.

We usually dine at the hotel whenever we&#39;re staying at Coolangatta. The meals are good value for money and has regular live entertainment. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you&#39;re looking to eat and chat, I&#39;d probably choose a night without bands. The band was good, but very loud, so hard to talk and eat - unpleasant to the ears at times. Otherwise, highly recommend.

We enjoy coming here for dinner while on holidays. Service is prompt and polite. Lively atmosphere with the Sunday night band playing. The volume was a little loud for my liking but we enjoyed our meals!
